This week we are going to read several examples of Fractured Fairy Tales! A Fractured Fairytale is a Fairy Tale that has been written with a twist to the traditional Fairy Tale. This week you will read the following Fractured Fairytales:
The Frog Prince
Rumpelstiltskin
Hansel and Gretel
Pinocchio
Princess and the Pea
Beauty and the Beast
The Enchanted Fish
Jack and the Beanstalk
From these examples we will identify the main characteristics that are found in all fairy tales, then you will pick a fairy tale of your choice and decide how you are going to "fracture" your fairy tale.
Please use the following graphic organizer for your reading of the Fairy Tales:

I was able to view your webspiration document! Yea, I can see lots of applications for this program, I'll be interested to hear how you incorporate this into your lesson. Thanks for being a great class member.
